We almost ended up in New Jersey

So, my honey and I went to Magic Mountain this past weekend. We almost ended up in New Brunswick, New Jersey. How is that possible? Well, it was early in the morning, it had been a wine filled evening with the other Barron girl, and I should have gone back to sleep for the hour I spent reading my book. My job was to book the hotel. We were meeting his parents and one of their freinds up there on Saturday night so we could hit the park first thing on Sunday. I went to the magicmountain.com that came up as one of the last sites on my computer we visited. We were going to book the hotels the night before, but like I said. It was a wine filled evening with the other Barron girl. We looked at hotels but that was about it.

I called the first hotel. They were booked already for the evening. The next place had 3 rooms available. Price was right. Looked nice. So I booked it. Credit card. Billing address. Got the confirmation numbers and I asked for the address so we could navigate. I asked for the city because my nav sometimes gets me confused.

Response? New Brunswick.

Ummm ... I think I have the wrong Magic Mountain. Please cancel all the rooms.

This got plenty of laughs from the peanut gallery. Hung up and started over. Ended up wishing I had listened to the drunk the night before and booked the suites. BUT... as it was pointed out to me, it was just for the one night.

The Magic Mountain day was soooo awesome. We got to ride all the big rides and didn't have to wait more than an hour for any of them. I'm still scared of heights and roller coasters which made it even more awesome. Golliath at night ? Scariest coolest thing E V E R. We met some really cool people that live and work right around the corner that we'll have to hang out with again.

Springtime!

Ahhh ... San Diego. It feels like spring. I shouldn't be at work. For both of you that aren't stuck in an office ... I am jealous. I just want to be somewhere in the sunshine reading my book getting some color back in my cheeks! It's been a cold, rainy winter. I saw myself the other day and I swear I look like Casper! Maybe not as friendly, but just as white

One of my favorite things

Is when I wake up and hear little happy sleeping noises from my honey and my cat at the same time. Like they are both having good dreams. I woke up this morning and heard that. I smiled and went back to sleep.

Blogging is much too fun to ignore completely!

So, one of my nude rear resolutions will be to blog more. Here is my first step towards that goal. Is it still a nude rear resolution in February?
