I will usually wake up with random songs in my head. Over and over and over. Sometimes they're good songs. Sometimes they are songs that I hate or only know one line that repeats. I was going to sleep last night and I had the Oscar Mayer bologna song stuck in my head.
Myyyyyy bologna has a first name. It's O S C A R. My bologna has a second name it's M A Y E R.
Yeah. Almost as bad as Henry the VIII. Hopefully one of those are now stuck in your head. = )

Part-time personal chef
It seems the only time I cook is when D is out of town. Only problem is that when I do cook, I have a hard time thinking of what to make for one person. Turkey sandwich? OK. I can do that for one. Chicken kabob? I can do that too! Other than that, my culinary imagination doesn't go too much further. When I get tired of my turkey stirfry and spaghetti noodles with soy sauce, I've got to call in some help. Luckily Yo is always ... or almost always ... willing to come over and help me out. I decided I wanted to do some chicken pot pies tonight. I asked her what she thought of that:
I think many things about chicken pot pies.
Mostly that I love them
In their cute little bowls
Sitting pretty with a cap of pure biscuit goodness
Pot pies, pot pies
You bring me such joy.
Pot pies, pot pies
Don’t be so coy.
I'll take that as a yes.

No, we're not twins
But we do share half a brain. It is evident on the days we show at functions wearing the exact same old navy shirt in a different color. The day we met at the gym wearing the exact same D imported shirt and a pair of black sweats. I titled a blog almost the exact same way she did without having seen hers. Tell her to stop slouching because I'm slouching and it hurts. Then I find out that she was slouching. That is just what I've noticed in the past 24 hours. this list could go on and on and on. It's funny and only slightly embarrassing upon occasion.

Ruuuuuuunnnn Forrrest!!!
I never thought I would ever say that I like running ... but I do. I've been doing the elliptical for a while now, but the other day down at my little apartment gym one wasn't available. I told myself...self, you've been doing the elliptical at over 7mph for a solid half hour. You can totally run on a treadmill. My only fear was my motion sickness. I don't know if anyone else gets sea sick after walking/running on a treadmill, but I swear I did. I would walk ... just walk on the treadmill and as soon as I got off, I felt like I was still moving and got slightly sea sick. Or treadmill sick. Whatever you wanna call it. Anyhow ... the other day there wasn't one available. So I told myself ... self you've got to do something today, just walk on the treadmill. So I did. I started walking and it just wasn't doing it for me. I decided to go ahead and just up the mph. It was fantastic. Today I ran a couple miles on the treadmill .... and I LOVED it. I've always wanted to be a runner. Running through my neighborhood, down at the beach (since its almost spring and warm), wherever. Just running. So, today was fantastic. I do like running. Maybe I'll work up to some kind of running event. = ) B!!!
